Biography of Linda Loredo:
A large-eyed Mexican beauty she entered films in 1928 and was most commonly associated with Laurel & Hardy short subjects. Her fiery Latin temper played excellent counterpoint to the teams comic buffoonery. Having made eight films in 1930 and 1931 her star seemed destined to continue raising at the Hal Roach "Fun Factory". But it was not to be. She entered Queen of Angels Hospital on June 19, 1931 for an emergency appendectomy and died two months later from peritonitis and other post-operative complications. She was 24. She is the sister of Maria Loredo
